Early Childhood Teacher The Learning Experience Byron Center Pay: $16$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday
Location: The Learning Experience Byron Center, MI

At The Learning Experience Byron Center, we create joyful, engaging classrooms where children learn through exploration, hands-on activities, and meaningful connections. We are seeking a warm, energetic Early Childhood Teacher to support the development of young learners in our toddler and preschool-age programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

• Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum , supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

• Partner with co-teachers to deliver lessons, guide classroom routines, and maintain structure.

• Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and progress updates.

• Observe, document, and support individual learning goals.

• Ensure compliance with Michigan childcare licensing, safety, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with center leadership to uphold program excellence and classroom consistency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.

• At least 6 months of childcare or preschool classroom experience (1+ year preferred).

• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) .

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available).

• Dependable, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood education.
