Laborer Pay Rate and Hours:

• Pay: $18+
• Hours: 6am to 4pm - OT is required

Custodian Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Custodian/Handyman to join our team. This role combines facility cleaning with light maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping the shop clean, organized, and in good working order, while also performing general handyman duties including sheetrock repair, painting, and flooring tasks.

Custodian Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of the shop, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Complete basic repairs such as sheetrock patching, painting, and flooring installation or repairs.
• Assist with general maintenance of equipment, tools, and shop areas.
• Report repair needs or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and repair supplies, requesting restocks as necessary.
• Assist team members with shop organization and upkeep projects.

Custodian Qualifications:

• Proven experience in custodial, maintenance, or handyman roles.
• Basic skills in sheetrock repair, painting, and flooring.
• Ability to use standard cleaning tools and maintenance equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs].

Custodian Work Environment:

• Indoor shop environment with occasional outdoor work.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working with various tools and cleaning supplies.
