Type: Full-Time

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 annually

Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary Creative Director with a deep and demonstrable passion for the health and wellness industry.

As Creative Director, you will be the visionary leader of Spark Growth's creative team, shaping the visual and verbal identity of our clients and our agency. This senior leadership role is responsible for establishing the creative direction and strategic messaging for all campaigns, ensuring every piece of content not only looks exceptional but also drives tangible business results. You will lead a small but talented team of creatives, including our Art Director, and work in close partnership with our strategy and paid media teams to deliver groundbreaking work.

Your Mission:

You will lead the development of powerful creative concepts, compelling storytelling, and strategic brand positioning that elevate our clients in the health and wellness space. Your mission is to oversee the entire creative process, from initial concept to final execution, ensuring our work is innovative, performance-driven, and aligned with client objectives. You will be a hands-on leader, mentoring your team while maintaining the highest standards of creative excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the creative vision and strategy for Spark Growth and our clients, ensuring all creative outputs are innovative, aligned with brand goals, and optimized for performance.
  • Direct the development of all creative assets, including video, social media content, advertising, branding, and long-form content, with a strong focus on strategic messaging and copywriting.
  • Direct the planning and execution of photoshoots and videoshoots, overseeing creative concepts, moodboards, talent, and visual direction.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the creative team, providing clear direction and constructive feedback to drive their professional growth and the quality of their work.
  • Collaborate with the paid media and account management teams to ensure a seamless workflow and that all creative aligns with strategic and performance goals.
  • Serve as the primary creative point of contact for key clients, presenting concepts and rationale with confidence and a deep understanding of their business needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in digital marketing, design, and content creation, translating new insights into fresh, impactful creative strategies.
  • Own the quality and consistency of all creative work, ensuring brand guidelines are developed and consistently applied across all projects.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • A demonstrable passion for and deep interest in the health and wellness industry.
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior creative role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level position at a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns across digital channels, with a strong portfolio showcasing work that demonstrates both visual excellence and strategic thinking.
  • Deep expertise in brand development, messaging, and strategic copywriting, with an understanding of how these elements work together to drive consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex creative concepts to both internal teams and clients.
  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and animation is a significant asset.
  • Demonstrated experience leading creative for large brands and/or clients in the health, wellness, and highly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment, managing multiple projects and priorities with a high degree of autonomy.
