Position:

United Roofing Inc is looking to hire a full-time Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Calgary. Our overall operation involves, roofing, traffic coating, cladding/siding, and waterproofing throughout the Calgary area. The typical working hours required are from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Job description:

• Prepare, log, and coordinate transmittals and shop drawings.
• Prepare, log, and coordinate warranty documents and O&M manuals. *Overall support of the operational mobilization process.
• Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control, and change order administration.
• Develop and implement quality control programs. (QC/QA Manuals and Checklists)
• Ensure all changes to specifications, job scope, and drawings are documented and updated. (PCN, SI, RFE, CD, etc.)
• Ensure appropriate filing and paperwork.
• Direct project correspondences by reviewing project proposals, memos, and email communications.
• Maintain records of projects both during and upon completion, including progress photos, reports/inspection, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate LEED documentation.
• Assis the Project Managers with multiple projects at once.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of the building envelope scope.
• Able to read and understand building specifications and blueprints.
• Mathematical and analytical skills.
• Computer skill and formatting of document.
• Good communication skills.

Assets:

• Construction industry knowledge.
• Knowledge of Planswift.
• Experience in a similar role preferred (3 years preferred)
