What will you be doing?
We are working with a precast concrete manufacturer in Puslinch and Oakville. You will be responsible for performing a variety of production duties, including setting up forms, installing inserts, and removing excess concrete. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

General Labourer:

• You will be assisting with preparing concrete forms
• Use of hand and power tools, including measuring devices, trowel, and hand and power tools
• Assisting machine operators with the equipment to move and handle concrete
• Assisting with cutting and placing rebar wire
• Trained in finishing the concrete molds
• Removing finished product from molds
• Quality inspection of molds and adding stencils
• Cleaning work area by sweeping and removing concrete from molds and equipment
• Working in the mixer to clean out the concrete  
• All positions mostly work indoors, but sometimes work outdoors is required
• PPE will be provided for all positions except work boots

About you and what is required:

• Works well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects (Up to 50 lbs)
• Punctual and can be relied on to show up as scheduled and is available for any shift (day, afternoons & nights)
• Motivated with a high standard for producing quality work
• An eye for detailed inspection to ensure our quality standards are met
• When working in the mixer, you will be required to wear a fitted face mask, so you must be clean-shaven.
• Committed to creating and maintaining a safe work environment and behaviours

Must have for work:

• Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation for safety on-site
• Construction or heavy industrial experience is an asset
• Safety BOOTS, your ankles must be covered by a boot. Not shoes
• Can be dusty; people with allergies might be affected
• Must be clean-shaven if working in the mixer – not optional
• No jewellery can be worn anywhere in the facility  

Employment  Details: 
Pay: Hourly starts @ $24.70 and $25.71, depending on the facility working at. After 3 months increases to $29.15
Schedule: Must be flexible for all – We have multiple straight shifts
Location: Puslinch and Oakville, ON
