Job Description
The Community Arts Center Manager oversees all Community Arts Center activities, including day-to-day facility operations, administration, management of onsite programs, and related instructor and volunteer scheduling. The manager ensures the facility is fully operational, maintaining resources and supplies for operation and programs, overseeing onsite contractors and volunteers, as well as serving as a liaison between the center and the museum.
This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as are flexibility and commitment to working as part of a team. This role is directly tied to helping the CMA achieve its strategic goals of providing access to quality arts programming to visitors of all ages within the community through unique onsite programs and in support of signature Community Arts programs, such as Parade the Circle and Chalk Festival.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Daily management of facility operations
Management of onsite contractors, instructors, and volunteers
Coordination of Community Arts Center programs
Work in collaboration with museum staff to schedule and coordinate onsite special events; depending on scope of the event, tasks may include schedule event staffing, coordinating catering, entertainment, rental equipment.
Coordinate schedule and set up for Center space usage for Community Arts signature programs, such as Parade the Circle, Chalk Festival and Studio Go
Maintain financial statements and operating records; assist Director of Community Arts with annual budget planning and reporting.
Salary: $50,000/year. Full-time work is 35 hours per week; occasional overtime might be necessary.
