Work Flexibility: Onsite
1st Shift: Mon - Fri 7AM - 3:30PM What you will do: As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for the following listed below:
\n - Produce machined parts using a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathe machine.
\n - Interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials lists, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
\n - Check machine on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy of settings.
\n - Work includes assignment planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for various types of numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
\n - Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
\n - Check and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.
\n - May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.

What you need: Required Qualifications:
\n - High school diploma or GED.
\n - 3 years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n - Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.
\n - Ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. on a frequent basis depending on product line, may rarely lift/carry 50-75 lbs.
\n - Job demands include prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing and/or crawling as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:
\n - 1 - 2 years of CAD/CAM experience with SURFCAM or similar software.
\n - 2 - 3 years experience with operation of CNC lathes and/or mills.
\n - 2 - 3 years experience with work holding and fixtures for CNC lathes and/or mills.
