Job Description

• Operates a school bus on a regular schedule
• May drive students to and from special events
• Cleans, washes and polishes bus
• Changes oil, puts on chains, repairs tires and performs a variety of minor repair tasks
• May be responsible for safety and decorum in school parking areas
• Sweep, mop, wash walls, dust, empty wastebaskets and dispose of rubbish; handle towels and other cleaning supplies; wax floors and wash windows and blackboards.
• Assist in movement of supplies and equipment.
• Set up and remove furniture for special affairs, as required.
• Perform other duties as directed by the superintendent of schools and his/her designee (i.e. hand deliveries/U.S. post office services/cafeteria services).
