Certificated Substitute Teachers Location Fort McMurray, AB :

Position(s): Certified Substitute Teachers Location: Various Schools Start date: 2023/24 School Year Closing date: Ongoing ​

Fort McMurray Catholic School Division requires certified teachers or teachers eligible for certification to substitute teach in the Division. A Certified Substitute Teacher is a casual teacher of various subjects from our Early Entry Program (EEP) to Grade 12. Often our temporary teaching positions are filled from our Certified Substitute list. Being a Substitute is a great way to experience different classroom environments and the ability to work within a flexible work schedule.

• Flexible, organized, reliable and adaptable
• Must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification and hold a Bachelor of Education Degree

​The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. FMCSD will contact past and present employers for references. All FMCSD employees are expected to be computer literate; this includes fluency with e-mail, Internet and MS Office.
