CDL Dump Truck Driver (Class A or B)
I. Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A or B Driver to join a local owner-operator team. This is a local driving position serving the Akron/Canton area, ensuring you are home every night with weekends and holidays off.
II. Equipment & Schedule
The Rig: You will be operating a well-maintained 2005 Peterbilt 357 Quad featuring a fresh, high-performing C-13 CAT engine.
Flexible Commitment: We are open to Full-Time or Part-Time (2–3 days per week) employment. We are specifically looking for a dedicated driver or someone to split the weekly schedule with the owner-operator.
Work-Life Balance: Monday through Friday schedule. No weekends. No holidays.
III. Key Responsibilities
Safely transport and dump various materials including topsoil, fill dirt, construction debris, sand, gravel, and asphalt millings.
Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the Peterbilt remains in top running condition.
Navigate local routes efficiently within the Akron and Canton regions.
Maintain professional communication with the owner-operator and job site personnel.
IV. Compensation & Benefits
Overtime: Time-and-a-half (1.5x) pay for any hours worked over 40 per week (available during peak season).

V. Requirements
Valid CDL Class A or Class B License.
Clean driving record and solid professional references.
Experience operating a quad-axle dump truck is preferred.
Punctual, dependable, and respectful of the equipment.
