Outline
The University of Osaka Graduate School of Medicine offers postdoctoral research fellow positions (up to 100 positions) to researchers who have difficulty continuing their research activities or joining a laboratory in the United States due to sudden policy changes by the government. We will provide a stable and supportive environment where you can focus on cutting-edge medical research. Applicants interested in this open call should submit required documents shown below to the Personnel section, General Affairs Division of the Graduate School of Medicine. Term of Employment
One year from the date of appointment. However, there is a possibility of employment for a maximum of three years. There is also a possibility to be a faculty staff, depending on the evaluation.
The maximum cumulative contract term is 10 years from the starting date, based on “Regulations Pertaining to Contract Period of National University Corporation Osaka University Fixed-term Staff, etc.”

Based on “38. Regulations Pertaining to Working Hours, Holidays and Leave for National University Corporation Osaka University Limited Term Staff”
*The Discretionary Labor System, Special Work Type will be applied with the applicant’s consent. (deemed working hours: 8 hours a day)

Selection Process
After initial application documents have been reviewed, only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online by the PI of the laboratory the applicants wish to belong to and may be required to submit additional materials. Please note that applicants who are not selected will not be notified of the results of the selection process.
