We are looking for a Bilingual Salesforce Developer who will be an integral part of our development efforts, working closely with senior developers, system analysts, and stakeholders to build and enhance Salesforce solutions tailored to our specific business needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills and expertise in Salesforce development within a supportive and collaborative in-house environment.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

• Collaborate closely with senior developers, system analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Assist in the configuration and customization of Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and processes to optimize system functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Salesforce implementations, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Actively contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements and enhancements within the Salesforce ecosystem.

What you have to offer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 2 years experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification is a must.
• Other Salesforce certifications are an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French is required as the candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
