Job Description

Ecolab is seeking an experienced and dedicated AZ Bulk Chemical Driver to join our this full-time year-round position you will be responsible for safely delivering chemical products to various industries in Ontario and Quebec. If you like travelling on the road and meeting people you might be the person we are looking for!

The successful candidate will be eligible for a $5000 Signing Bonus

Position Details:

• Based out of Burlington ON with travel through Ontario including Sarnia Sudbury Belleville Toronto. Some out of province travel to Quebec may be required as needed.

• Scheduled deliveries will be Monday to Friday with some overtime as needed.

• Schedule will vary based on customer orders up to 3 to 4 nights of overnight travel may be required per week.

What You Will Do:

• Safely operate vehicles including delivery trucks tank trunks over-the-road trucks.

• Load trailers and plan schedule based on customer orders to meet customer delivery requirements

• Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times.

• Perform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date delivery location maps and operate in accordance with regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials

• Maintain drivers hours of service by using SamSara ELD reporting.

• Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazards

• Work closely with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction

• Wear appropriate safety gear during delivery operations

• Keep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills

• Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Possess a current Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with all the relevant endorsements

• 3 years commercial driving experience with ability to drive manual transmission (10 & 13 speed)

• Acceptable motor vehicle record

• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating forklifts drum dollies trailer hoists chemical pumps hoses

• Experience handling products in various types of packages including drums totes will be an asset

• Knowledge of equipment compliant with Federal Safety Regulations and regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials.

• Bilingual or strong French verbal communication skills are an asset
