Salary: ¥10,000,000 annually

Position: Android Engineer

Join a growing team focused on building cross-border payment solutions used by high-profile global platforms. As the first Android Developer in this role, you'll play a key part in shaping mobile payment products, including a new POS app, SDK, and tap-to-pay functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android-based POS and Tap-to-Pay applications and SDK using Kotlin

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and build new mobile features

• Partner with backend teams to ensure seamless mobile-to-server integrations

• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to the evolution of mobile architecture

• Contribute across the tech stack when needed (flexibility with languages/frameworks encouraged)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development

• Proficiency with Android SDK and mobile development best practices

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs with mobile applications

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design patterns

• T-shaped developer mindset - ability to contribute across technical areas

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to iOS development and architecture

• Familiarity with cross-platform mobile frameworks

• Business-level Japanese proficiency

• Previous experience working in or with Japanese organizations
