Job Description :

Lead consulting efforts across internal departments and customer facing operations as a member of our Corporate Task team. In this role you will be responsible for leading and providing consulting activities for the creation and implementation of business e-tools throughout our organization. It will also be required to work very closely with the Functional Tools Product Owner, IT Product Manager, Functional Users, and SCRUM teams.

 

Essential Responsibilities :

- Work closely with the business partners to collect product (application) needs and document them as acceptance criteria within feature documents.

- Represent these needs to the development teams in order for them to create user stories and sprint plans.

- Work with the architecture teams to develop and overall product vision.

- Ensure that the development team always has a planned and prioritized team story backlog.

- Communicate to ensure that dependencies and risks are well planned for.

- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.

- Lead testing / product feedback sessions with the business users and capture new ideas or gaps.

- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.

- Work closely with Product Management Team(s) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value.

- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

Desired Skills :

- A quick understanding of new operations and process assessments.

- The ability to ask smart questions and provide persuasive responses.

- Detail oriented with good listening skills.

- Able to create basic tools (spreadsheets, reports) using standard software such as Access, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.

- Creative problem-solving capabilities to meet assigned objectives.

- Training or Certification in the following CSPO, SAFe POPM, CSM, PSM a plus.

Qualifications/Requirements :

A degree in Engineering or Business (with operations management experience).
