Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with an well-established public accounting firm serving the Greater Boston area for a search for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This firm operates two offices - one in Metro West and one on the South Shore - with flexibility to work from either or both offices. There is a direct route from Manager to Partner!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Supervise and review work of team members.
• Prepare tax returns (individual, corporate, S-Corp, nonprofit, partnership, trust) for final partner review.
• Understand industry standards (AICPA, FASB, GASB).
• Plan and execute audits, reviews, compilations for municipalities, corporations, nonprofits.
• Create financial statements (GAAP or other) for Partner's approval.
• Mentor staff in efficient audit, accounting, and tax techniques.
• Develop, monitor, and summarize time budgets.
• Collaborate with Partner for client retention.
• Assign personnel for engagements.
• Ensure timely delivery of Firm products for partner review.

Requirements for the Accounting Manager position:

• 6 or more years of progressive experience in accounting
• Proficient in audit procedures, documentation, work paper presentation.
• Masters degree in accounting or related field
• CPA licensed in Commonwealth of MA or Enrolled Agent Certification from the IRS preferred
• Adhere to personnel policy manual.
